DMCA Policy
Roasted Tri Tip respects the intellectual property rights of others and is committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy outlines our procedures for addressing claims of copyright infringement and for submitting counter-notifications.
Filing a DMCA Notice (Takedown Request)
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on the Roasted Tri Tip website, you may notify our designated Copyright Agent by submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice. For your notice to be valid under the DMCA, you must provide the following information in writing:
- An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright's interest.
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including the URL (i.e., web page address) of the location where the copyrighted work exists or a copy of the copyrighted work.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on the Roasted Tri Tip website (e.g., URL of the specific page or a screenshot).
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your Notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
Please send your DMCA Takedown Notice to our designated agent through our contact page.
Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you have the right to file a counter-notification with us. If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the content in question. To file a counter-notification, you must provide a written communication that includes the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Roasted Tri Tip may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
